 New To Night Vision?

I have done some research on this monocular (amazon hasn’t so far) and here is what I found out:
It is a great buy for beginners, the low price for the optics looks good for a generation 1 night vision scope.
Night Vision comes in generations, different levels of performance. What you see on a generation 3 nv scope will be many times better than a generation 1 nv scope. You also pay for the better vision. So if you are new to night vision like most of us, I recommend looking for an inexpensive generation 1 night vision monocular so you can be the James Bond you always wanted to be without the James Bond budget.
Before you buy this scope, do a little research about night vision and check out all of the night vision systems amazon offers. You will be suprised what these can do! Also, before you take out your credit card, go to a Dick’s or Sport’s Athority and ask to see an nv scope (preferably the one your buying) so you can see how it stands up to the others you’ve tried.
I do not own a night vision scope but as you probably have realized, I am informed in the matter. Try Night Owl Optic’s nv monoculars before you get your mind stuck on an AMT. Night owl has been a long manufacturor of high quality night vision. AMT has just appeared on amazon so keep looking for more reviews from people who have purchased this and/or other AMT prouducts. That is why I gave this 3 stars for now. I will correct it after I see some more reviews!
