Back when I was playing college baseball and going to the gym each day, I thought that I would be competent to build my chest and back a lot more than I actually did. I figured that by going to the gym each day, I would at least see numerous betterment each week in these muscle groups, but it seemed that I fell into a plateau and could never actually get beyond it. That was until I came across P90X, a program that incorporates a lot of push-ups and pull-ups to formulate the chest and back. These conventional exercises are what helped me get a ton of definition in my chest and back, something I have never experienced!

I have never been a fan of pull-ups, and rather frankly hated doing them in the gym. I would do a set of 4 or 5 wide grip pull-ups and then quit for the rest of the workout. It just wasn’t pleasurable for me! I relied on lat-pull downs to construct my back, but actually that wasn’t sufficient to get good results. I would now and then do a great deal of lawnmowers, but never followed proper form, so it was gorgeous much pointless as well. I never had the proper instruction either, which doesn’t help. Then I begun the program, and I wanted to make sure I strictly followed it because I saw how it worked for others.

Like I brought up above, pull-ups are the main exercises to formulate the back. During the firstborn week of doing all the distinguishable pull-ups, I was competent to do only 4-5 for each set, but noticed that my muscles were the most sore they have ever been in that area. As each week passed by, I noticed that I was capable to do more and more pull-ups until I got to the point where I was busting out 15-20 pull-ups for each set! Remember, the most I could ever do was 8, and I just blew that number out of the water after just a month! I learned, though, that it’s very necessary to focus on proper form. This includes pulling up as far as possible and then letting down until you can’t lower anymore!

Proper form is just as necessary for push-ups as it is pull-ups. I never believed that conventional push-ups would build my chest to where I wanted it to be. I guess you may say that I was a skeptic! That was until I did finish workouts that concentered just on push-ups! You want soreness? Try doing 45 minutes of not one thing but dissimilar push-up exercises! I could scarcely make it through the second half of the workout. As hard as it is to swallow my pride, I confess that I could only do 2-3 push-ups for the duration of the second half. Yeah, it’s embarrassing, but oh well! Long story short, doing just these conventional push-ups built my chest more than ever before. I even have veins popping out of my chest now!

    omg you immature little ****…stop looking at her body and TRY looking at the pushup…i myself find that pushup a little more challenging if you put your hands in the triangle position. its alot harder for more advanced people

    Maybe she just hasn’t been doing pushups for very long, but I didn’t find the pushups she demonstrated to be difficult at all. The fact that she still has nice ***** lets you know her upper body is not as strong as it could be. She looks great, though. Definitely a cutie!
